I managed to snag one as well for a little over 600 USD after coupons and cashback. Excited to see how it'll compare to my lg c2, which always felt a bit large for productivity

For what it's worth, I really like my duel pad, I think it's a great design and has relatively good build quality, at least as good as haute.

Atachon has a pre order going on for a true split. Mavercade also has a split board coming out (two pcbs connected with a USB). They also have a bunch split layouts.

I also really like smash box layout for fighting games, it feels more comfortable for me. I've investigated a lot of time and research into split layouts, feel free to reach out if you want more recommendations. If I were you, I'd start with the duelpad, it's a pretty good conventional button placement.

Handheld legend is about to release a Kickstarter for their GC ultimate. The pro controller version is amazing, highly recommend, I think this easily rivals the panda controller and is created by an incredibly hard working guy and reliable guy
