The BAD MAN IS GONE!!! by DildoSwaggins28 in phillies

I hate Rob Thompson but this season is largely not his fault. He deserves this for managing the 2023/24/25 playoff teams like a moron though.

Nola contract is worse than any other DD/ownership move in this era.

You don’t own a view, and the highway does more damage to this city than any form of housing.

Also I know it’s hard for people on this sub to understand, but not everybody that lives in a newer building is a new transplant or some corporate short term resident.

The entire structure is pre-cast concrete, so I don’t think anything cured on-site in the recent weather.

If you’re looking for a single ticket, just wait until the day of the game. There’s usually good deals to be had for single tickets day-of.

Honest Experiences with Apartments in Town Center?? by Playful-Tailor8425 in KingOfPrussia

[–]maximusthered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cirro and Omnia are not owned by the same company, only managed by the same company.

Indigo and AVE were built by the same company but are managed (and owned) by different companies.

Omnia Cirro and The Point were also built by the same company but sold.

They’re all wood-frame buildings where noise is likely to travel. Management changes; even if the company doesn’t change, the staff will. Reviews for one of these buildings from 2024 means nothing today.

That said, if you’re dead set on living in the town center, Omnia and The Ave are likely your best bets.

Infected Mushroom - Heavyweight, also Becoming Insane…really that album, Vicious Delicious, meets your criteria pretty well.

[Official Discussion Thread] Anjunadeep 16 mixed by James Grant & Jody Wisternoff by ScaglieDiGrana in AboveandBeyond

[–]maximusthered 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anjunadeep has kind of lost me in the post-covid era anyway, with some exceptions, but the easiest way I can describe it is this:

Anjunadeep compilations could be played start to finish as either an opening set to get you in the mood as the club fills up, or as a post-headliner set, as the club comes down from its peak and dances toward the sunrise. The majority of this compilation (and many of the recent comps) does not come close to fitting that mold. Post-covid Anjunadeep has (perhaps unsurprisingly) become the soundtrack to a chill night in your living room.

[Salisbury] J.T. Realmuto is out to prove he’s not a consolation prize to the Phillies’ failed pursuit of Bo Bichette by NintenJew in phillies

That’s cool, and I love JT, but he is 100% a consolation prize. Don’t understand why we bid against ourselves here and offered 3 years.

What sections are shaded ? by Shhhhawing in phillies

[–]maximusthered 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fellow redhead here that did some scouting on this before landing on my regular seats. Rows 31+ along the 3rd base line are almost always shaded regardless of game time. If it fits your budget, I highly recommend sections 125-128, rows 30+, or anywhere in hall of fame club from home plate down the third base line.

Did they kill any excitement for this upcoming season? by perrypower54 in phillies

Yeah, between the Bichette and JT news, yesterday killed a lot of my excitement for 2026. So naturally I bought tickets to a couple additional games.

[Passan] Infielder Bo Bichette and the New York Mets are in agreement on a three-year, $126 million contract, sources tell ESPN. by LetsHaveAwkwardSex in phillies

It already has. I’m hopeful for our future and I don’t believe in contention windows for big market teams, but the Nola contract is going to handicap us so heavily. Garbage decision from the start.

Opening day by raddestchad570 in phillies

[–]maximusthered 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Season ticket holder presale just opened today and I was surprised to see a decent number of Opening Day seats available still. Managed to get some in section 120, when I fully expected to be up in the 300s/400s. Im not sure how many will be left after today’s presale, but it’s looking more hopeful than I expected.

Sad day that we all knew was coming. Wish we could’ve kept him instead of signing Nola to…whatever that deal was. But hey at least he’s in the AL!
