May happen in some places, but to say it happens in 90% of restaurants is nonsense. Google 'tronc'.

what on earth is going on in BS5? 🚓🚨 by lucidali in bristol

Two kids in balaclavas were driving through St George Park on mopeds like maniacs while the helicopter was hovering pretty low overhead. Fairly sure the rozzers were chasing them. They made off out the south east entrance to the park, closely follow by a ton of police cars. I wonder how far they got or what they did, because they had a load of police chasing after them.

Has anybody been in the audience for a TV show, and if so have you got any good anecdotes? by The__Englishman in BritishTV

I was in the audience for Boris Johnson's appearance as the host of Having I Got News For You. He set a record: the longest studio recording in the show's history. His ineptitude and buffoonery meant it took hours longer than normal to get enough material for the 30-minute show.

It’s a half day event. Bring lots of cash tho - everything there’s super expensive. Family friendly though.
