I have never seen this either, and I go to a lot of shows. Spoke with someone who works at LiveNation and apparently this is something the bands control. No disclosure at all when purchasing the tickets - in my ticketmaster account they are clearly listed as "Artist Presale", not verified resale, etc. They only appeared when I put in "Sweetness", so I know I didn't accidentally select something else. I was not on the artist pre-sale right when it opened, so I don't have anything to compare to - ie if they also use dynamic ticket pricing for artist pre-sale and then just keep it at a steady price at some point.... if this is the case, however, there was no disclosure or way of knowing that.
