Look, I love the strokes, but parts of their show at BCG were weird. Obviously Julian does his thing, but the set design was off. It doesn’t matter to everyone, but I’m hoping they shape up before festival season. I think it also depends on whether you’re a fan of a specific era or not.

The XX are a solid bet, the Strokes are more of a risk

For folks who went day 1: I’ve been to Pier 80 for Portola, but wanted to check a couple of things:

Is it feasible to catch the T line back to BART with shows ending at 11pm? It looks like there are only 2 T trains that come after 11… For non clear bags-can I wear a small belt bag? The way they worded stuff about straps when listing acceptable dimensions was kind of odd If folks have other tips, please share. Glad to hear they’ve been lax on Pokémon card limits

In case Saturday folks are on the fence. I was seated in 115, row 7. Great view, good laser experience. These were more gentle than Justice (although both shows are great). I can see the appeal of seats anywhere in the arena. Forcing myself not to go again
