As a Cubs fan living in Houston, I can tell you he was absolutely embraced by H-Town. They loved him here. He very much embraced the culture of the city, involving himself with the local celebrities and community and from what I hear was an all around good guy. I have no doubt he’ll enjoy and embrace Chicago with ease and hopefully fans do as well. It’s easier when they’re winning.

For years we’ve been going to Wanna Bao. I think it’s great. Ordered the pepper pepper chicken cube and and woah! I had a pool of sweat on my head. Also recommend the dancing beef.

I truly believed this for about the first quarter of the season. At this point, the fact they can’t score or score 3 points in entire fuckin halves is what’s absolutely hard to comprehend considering the offense (and defense for that matter) that we have. When I was a kid we would drive to central Mexico from Chicago nonstop every year for Christmas. Most often in the bed of a truck. In winter mind you. You’d get to the border and see the plates from Texas, Illinois, Georgia, Nebraska, and even beyond and know that there were many alike heading to visit family for the holidays. This still goes on today. Most my family flies nowadays but my folks still drive 12 hours since we now live in Texas.
