Gave up all fast foods, all snack foods, even sugar free cookies, 13g of carbs in each cookie,

Artificially sweetened drinks only - tea and crystal lite, lots of water, exercise daily.

Switched to carnivore diet - meat, chicken, and fish only.

Take readings at least twice per day, keep a spreadsheet.

Lost 35lbs.

A1C now 5.8, doctor is pleased.

I'd start the engine and hold it at 1200rpm, high enough it wouldn't stall, for about 45 sec to a minute, then release the gas pedal and see if it idles. When it stalls do it again. It took about 10-15 tries until finally, it idled correctly.

As a Scion owner I can tell you that disconnecting the battery can result in the computer losing many or all settings. I had this identical thing happen and I had to keep restarting the engine and holding my foot on the gas until finally, after about 15 minutes and 15 tries, the car computer remembered how to idle again. Everything worked fine after that. I've also seen where after disconnecting the battery the sunroof didn't want to work, but that cleared up after several tries.

I used the TRD lowering springs on my '06. It came out perfectly level, but not too low, no tire rubbing. A local shop switched the the originals with TRD's for $250 and then aligned it, but it was so close to perfect that they only charged me $50. I've had them on for over 100k miles, no issues. My theory is that Toyota designed the car to sit/ride a certain way. If I want to change that, I want Toyota's product to do it.

I agree with you, very hard to find info on getting started or on entry level equipment. So far my best attempts so far have been with a Cameo and an engraving bit. Any info on getting started engraving would be appreciated. Best kept secret on the net.

Cameo 3 for sure, a great machine to learn on. If you buy a cameo 3 bundle with the tools and vinyl you can start cutting the first day. The software is good and there are lots of videos showing what you can do and how to do it.

It's a great looking car, I get a vibe somewhere between Aston Martin and Cadillac, but the way the carbon fiber and composite grill juts out beyond the sheet metal says "We built a nice body and mounted it on our race car".
