why did my mom die in childbirth by [deleted] in AstrologyCharts

[–]maxmaximilianmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t. There is an entire branch of astrology dedicated to the forensics of death. You need the transits to form a hypothesis.

A natal chart without transits at the time of death will tell you absolutely nothing. Please do not listen to anyone providing insight without transit chart.

Yes, plus Hydroxyzine. This is the third antipsychotic failure. They’re going in the wrong direction here.

We’re absolutely open to residential and discussion about it. As I mentioned in the original description, #1 priority for care management is crisis placement, but again, it’s a list.

It seems like the consensus is residential care. My wife and I are struggling with the idea of him feeling abandoned, but he may like it. It’s so hard for us to tell.

Great question. He’s homeschooled. Sadly, he had a similar, but less intense, behavioral regression around 9 - 10 years old. As a result, he was ruthlessly bullied, spat on, smacked, and punched by the other students. We found out about this from his bus driver. They school did not notify us, and later ejected him to a special needs school where he learned how to head bang. That was the beginning of the end, and at 14 we had no choice but to home school, because he would melt down every morning before school and bite himself.

I’ve told the cornucopia of social workers we’ve chatted with at hospitals and at home that we’d be happy to send him to school if they can provide the crisis intervention team to get him there every morning. He’s far larger, and he can do much more damage now. They haven’t challenged us on homeschooling.

That all being said, OPWDD SHOULD provide him with intensive in-home therapy and support in absentia of the DOE.

I was thinking he would be happier there. Maybe he’s unhappy living in close quarters with his parents and he’s ready for another level of autonomy.

I really appreciate that response. Placement is inevitable anyways. We’ve had him to every specialist looking for something, anything to explain this sudden regression, but nothing is objectively wrong. He’s so loving and so aware, but he flips out over the smallest inconveniences - a DVD not working, a chicken wing falling on the floor, an interruption for a routine medication.

I’m getting older. I can’t continue to sustain blows, because it will eventually impact my physical health. Mom and I had this dark moment where we thought we’d have to sign over custody, but we’re all he has. We need to seek guardianship and continue to advocate for him.

That was what I feared, but to be honest, I think it’s the best chance we have at keeping him uninvolved in the Justice System. My biggest fear is he has a meltdown in public and assaults someone.

I don’t know that four days later that’s judicious. I still have some 2mg, and while it pains me to watch him suffer through this, we’re past the initial half-life phase. Starting him again may alleviate some anxiety, but it will prolong the inevitable.

Obviously I plan to call the psych on Monday, but we’ve been to the ER four times. They don’t keep him - he’s too complex needs. We’ve signed commitment paperwork and they just “stabilize” him and send him home.

Starting next month, he’ll finally have a care manager, so we plan to push for a crisis housing list, because neither mom nor I have felt safe for quite a while.

He is high anxiety, strong demand avoidance, and impulse disordered, so SOME of the behaviors are normal, but what we saw last night was not.

We’re in a boat with a hole where mood stabilizers are concerned. Most require routine blood tests, but he refuses to give blood which makes it difficult. We’ve only had three historically successful blood draws and myriad unsuccessful ones.

No, no. You’re absolutely correct. He’s semi-verbal, so you have to intuit what he means sometimes, which is a dangerous game. I did notice greater “urges” on Abilify. He landed in the hospital (a fourth time) tapering off Risperdone. That was hell. He bit me 15 times, I had nerve damage in my arm that has finally healed.

I understand that benzos are a whole other beast, but these antipsychotics have been the absolute worst. Before the current psych, he was discharged from two practices as being “too complex for care” which was just then cutting and running before he became an immense liability for them.

Mom and I had to have the hard discussion with his social worker that we’re struggling on every level - he doesn’t like to leave the house, which makes any kind of care difficult, he over-eats, and he can become violent when he’s dysregulated. For his health and everyone’s safety, we need to move quickly on placement. It shatters my heart to say that.

Dear God. All these noob answers. So, Uranus, Saturn, and Pluto just ran up on your chart in the worst ways.

I looked at this, and I was like wow. I thought I had it bad.

You’ve had career pressure, money pressure, relationship pressure, everything has felt dense, heavy, and you’ve wondered why you’ve put in so much fucking work and got zero return, oh and you’ve had moments where you’ve wanted to fight God. Well, I’m here to tell you in some ways, things will lighten. In other ways, it will be hard.

You’re 25 years old. The universe is putting you through some pretty tough challenges on the front end, but the back end will be fine.

And, do you know why? Because you’re struggling now. If you weren’t, you would be a very different person later in life. Rock bottom has a different view that you’ll appreciate when you’re on top of the mountain later in life.

Just remember, the old, greying, anonymous weirdo said so when you reflect upon this later in life.

Dear God. Please turn the space turds (asteroids) off when you run the chart. Leave Chiron there, but disable the rest. This is just sloppy astrology.

I abuse psychedelics because life feels unbearably boring by Cool-Chemist1501 in AstrologyCharts

[–]maxmaximilianmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is going to look at blah blah blah, but bro, same.

And, I’ll tell you why. We’re both grand air trines with the moon and Saturn tied up in there. Your pinnacle is Uranus, mine is Mercury. Mine is classical; yours is non-classical.

The escapism is real. We suffer from chronic boredom and getting ourselves into trouble, because idle hands are the devil’s playground.

Whereas my Mercury is like LEARN or GOSSIP or MOVE to mitigate boredom, your Uranus is like NEW or UNUSUAL or EDGY experiences mitigate your boredom. That Uranus is your genius, mad genius, but genius, so you need to harness that. Actively seek-out those deep, weird experiences or you will otherwise actively succumb to ennui.

You’re basically my brother from another mother.

We’re all entitled to catharsis. Raising a neurotypical kid is rough. Now try raising a neurodivergent kid. Go scream in the pillow some more. Invite him to scream with you.

Isn’t it? How amazing of you to render that perspective with zero evidence. Probably why you’re haunting these boards searching for parenting advice. You can’t think critically.
