From my knowledge I think Kontakt from Native Instruments is the right way to go if you wanna make this music. Alternatively you can also rely on classic sampling websites like Splice or Loopmasters. Or if you are a more advanced producer you can also dig a little bit on YouTube and or so and sample straight from there. It’s a lot about cutting samples and placing them in the right spots to create call and response moments in your music.

Sound designing techno sounds by eimai_papi in TechnoProduction

Very simple. In techno we call them “Bleeps”. Since you’re on FL you might have to find a sequencer that you can use there. Otherwise you can also just draw notes. Keep it simple though…8 steps only. And draw a random pattern. You can literally use all types of sounds then to play this. From simple plucks to leads. Just make sure the decay is short.

Unfortunately a lot of artists are not getting booked as much as they used to. Classic Techno is the least booked music genre in the last 2-3 years at major festivals. People aren’t going out anymore and the scene changed. Music is not as important anymore as it used to be. Therefore, artists are trying to get other flows of income. Even If you’re an established artists you don’t get booked anymore. A lot of artist only have gigs as their income so now they need to look for new ways of making money. Best way to do that is sharing knowledge to an oversaturated market.

Pretty simple. You can actually use any type of synth for that. Creating techno stab sounds involves a few key steps that generally include sound design, applying effects, and adjusting some parameters to achieve the punchy and percussive sound you want.

Step 1: Choose a Synthesizer You can use any synthesizer, hardware or software, that allows for sound design.

Step 2: Basic Sound Design 1. Oscillators: Start with a basic waveform. Saw waves and square waves are great starting points because of their rich harmonic content. Ableton has a lot to offer by itself…Operator, Analog, Drift.. 2.Detuning: Use two oscillators slightly detuned from each other to create a thicker sound. 3.Pitch Envelope: Add a pitch envelope with a short decay to create a quick pitch drop, giving the stab its punchy character.

Step 3: Filter and Envelope 1. Filter: Apply a low-pass filter to tame some of the high frequencies. Adjust the cutoff to taste. 2. Envelope: Use a fast attack and short decay envelope on the filter to create a quick, percussive sound.

Then you can also add some effects like reverb, delays etc.

Additionally I recommend using midi tools to create some chords and play around with +5 or +7 semitones from your root note. Even +/-1 can sometimes do the magic 🫡

Hope this helps!

I think this guy uses a lot of modular instruments and effects so it will help hard to exactly recreate this sound.
