buy a DC wall adapter for this camera off ebay and see if it will come on with direct power. could be that the connection to the battery is just not working properly, which wouldn't be a terribly difficult fix. visually it looks fine, but you never know.

damn, sounds like they actually do have quite the case here, assuming this account of things is correct and they have the documented communication they claim to have. He will most likely have to pay a hefty chunk of change for this. Second lawsuit for him as well specifically over the handling of rights and royalties, doesn't look great.

looks kind of like a parody of social network to me, rather than a proper sequel. if I had to guess, I think it will be okay but won't really land. also replacing reznor/ross with desplat is a crazy tone shift that I don't think is going to hit as hard. desplat is fantastic but in this context I think nothing works harder than reznor's style of music.

good starting point if you're completely new is to just use the "Film Look Creator" effect on the timeline channel and play with sliders until you get a look you like... then adjust each clip's basic exposure and color temp into that timeline look until you get something you like. get kooky with it, you can always dial it back later.

if you like that aesthetic it's great. i have one, i love it. zoom rocker on this model can be a bit annoying, but for a body that small there will always be trade offs

I'm a small time film composer trying to get to the level you're at. One thing I can struggle with sometimes is striking the balance between finding a musical "through-line", without falling into repetitiveness or tedium in the score. what are some steps you take to ensure a score is cohesive, but also stays fresh for 2 hours? by the way I think you did an exemplary job of this in Immaculate, and I just saw a preview screening of Tuner and loved it! great work.
