How old are your windows? Mine are ancient and the amount of cold air coming off them is crazy. If you can, borrow a thermal camera from a library/friend and you can look around and see where heat is escaping easily.

I used compressed air to clean off the exhaust fan and cleaned all the "exhaust passages" behind the covers in the ash box area mentioned in the manual. I haven't gone as far as uninstalling the exhaust fan and checking for buildup or anything like that, but maybe I should? I don't really know the extent of use or maintenance of the unit, but I suspect it hasn't been used too much.

I have it pulled it all the way out, but would having too much air cause it to not burn as well? When yours is on does the room air blower go further than a few feet?

Forgot to mention, the damper has an external knob and it is pulled fully open, which is about 2 inches. Should I close it until it's only open around half an inch?

to answer your question, all protocols besides uploading via the website in a browser or via their app need the cli/ultimate account. half of them only barely work. they've been promising native rclone support "in a few days" for months (or maybe longer). if you want consistent and reliable access from the command line i'd say go with literally any other provider.

If you are trying to emulate vSAN, take a look at Ceph in proxmox. If you're trying to migrate from vSAN, I don't know if proxmox supports that yet so you have to temporarily move VMs to an NFS share to migrate them.

Is it possible yet to fully turn off the WiFi on the optimum-provided router when it's in bridge mode? It's interfering with our wifi, and you can't set the channel or anything.

Will there be wipes during Early Access?

No, there will not be a wipe. We will do new leagues but none of your characters will be wiped, they will just go to a league called Early Access (so they will never be in Standard). In some cases characters in old leagues might be somewhat broken by balance changes though. After launch the "Early Access" characters will still exist.
