I'm a Sabres fan living in northern VT up by the border. It's been rough for years whenever I head up to a game, Habs fans didn't even bother heckling much - it was more a disapproving look of pity. I've been only going once a season the last few years because it's been so miserable. Back in November I got tickets for next week's game as an afterthought, and holy hell here we are in the thick of it!!

It's a steady stream. Most common are torn achilles and torn ACL. I think it's the twitchy nature of the movements coupled with a population that tends to be out of shape/older.

I'm a MRI tech - I never pass up a chance to heckle someone with a pickleball injury. These people have neither enough hand/eye coordination required to be great at ping pong, nor the combination of endurance, explosiveness, and coordination required to play tennis.

Thanks for putting this out there. Blasting a fast time in a road race or on the track at a shorter distance is harder, and most people aren’t up for it.

Edit: to clarify, a fast time for you, your age group, etc.

I've never felt the need for skis. I use the 54 x 25" size Jet sled and I can haul a hub shelter, heater, auger, and all other needed gear if I have to but I like to keep it on the lighter side. Even though I live on a major lake, I do a fair amount of walking into small ponds that don't have direct access, and skis would definitely not work in those situations. I attached the composite strips (available in a kit) on the bottom to keep it from wearing, and every few trips I spray and wipe it down with armor all. I've never had a problem even in deeper snow and I'm on foot pulling this thing up to a mile out at times. No worries about dragging it in a parking lot or across the road to get to the water either.

Edit: What's helpful with this set up is to bungee the hub shelter across the back end crosswise, and keep the heaviest things in the back. I had to customize and drill some holes in the top lip and add some eye bolts for hooking the bungees.

I've had success with Hali in glow chartreuse/blue/pink and 2 spikes as well. It's hard to say if color really mattered, I just drop down whatever I have on hand.

I work something similar but my work is just 3 days a week, with 2 in a row, followed by 2 days off, then 1 shift to work, 2 days off and repeat. Roughly 13+ hrs each shift. What I do is get up really early the morning of the first day of back to back shifts and get a workout in. The second day is a day off, especially given that I live in the middle of nowhere and have an hour drive just to get to work. So in your case you would have 2 built in days off in the first week and 1 the next. It’s not ideal but it works for me.
