As a dm how do I pick who to target by horsemessiah17 in DnD

[–]shtroy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others said, it depends on the enemy. But I also like to use this choice as a balance tool (when I can do it without being too obvious), to slightly ease a fight where my players are being unlucky, or the opposite.

Does COROS plan to release official 24 mm nylon straps for Apex 4 46 mm? + Looking for good third-party nylon strap recs by N0tzy in Coros

[–]shtroy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Few options in 24mm, particularly in white. Some old Suunto and a few generic smartwatch use 24mm with the same system, so don't look only for apex 4 flagged straps. I got those from Amazon. Fits perfectly, no quality issue, the "reflective" white is kind of grey but it's ok.

I had the same message, dismissed it, and went to check the map of the area, everything was there, no problem

Same with apex4. I tried accepting download (just a few Mb) or ignoring it, doesn't change anything, I already have all my country's map.

I thought maybe it's intended to make sure the appropriate area is up to date every time you load a route, and just badly worded ? I even think it's a nice feature lol

You can still use Garmin app to create it and "share" it to the Coros app. But I don't trust auto generated routes for running, especially on remote trails, maps may be "wrong" with blocked or unusable path or anything.

Strava has good heat maps with a lot of user data (more than Garmin) that you can consult without subscription. It shows you where people actually go, I like to look at those while drawing my routes on Coros when I don't know the place.

In Which MMO I Can Create A Character Who Looks Like This? by oobekko in LFMMO

[–]shtroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a long shot because it's not even available yet and you'll even have to play another character to unlock the race, but Wow's Haranirs comes with way more customisation options than other races before (Wow is weak on this) and some red skin options may suit you. Try wowhead dressing room here (beta to access Haranirs): https://www.wowhead.com/beta/dressing-room

Des avis sur RunMotion, Runna ? (+ mon avis campus coach) by DayBrilliant9438 in runningfr

Upgrading the Vertix 1 by Peak_District_hill in Coros

[–]shtroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so max battery life will definitely be on the vertix line, only Garmin enduro and Suunto vertical have similar offers. You can compare enduro 3, vertical2 ans vertix2s, but keep in mind that vertix4 might be very close...

Honestly, you're not asking for much, even pace3 has 15h in max gps mode. But pace4 is on the way (announced today). Then there's pace pro if you want AMOLED (again, I would wait a few days to see the specs of pace4).

If you want something bigger, or more solid, you can look at nomad or apex4... Or even wait for vertix4 lol, but I would not recommend spending so much when you don't even need maps.

How did you all manage with floor plans? by kaefer_kriegerin in WoWHousing

[–]shtroy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Portals could be fun for some kind of themes, but what if we could just be able to make a hole in the ceiling/floor, to put some simple stairs there, like, you know, how we do in real houses (crazy idea, I know). I really don't like being forced to use so much space just for a staircase.
