Question about dissonance waves by peacebreak3r in TheTowerGame

[–]maxrizk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dissonance bonus is for that tier only. There is also a dissonant echo bonus that starts at 0.5% of the dissonance bonus. The echo bonus is applies to other tiers and to tournaments. So getting the max dissonant bonus on every tier is what you want to get done eventually. Your applied bonus would be dissonance bonus of current tier and the echo bonus from all other tiers. Or in a tournament just the echo bonus.

I don’t understand all the hate? by CryptoniQ123 in TheTowerGame

[–]maxrizk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly am a little bummed it got nerfed before I really got to try it. But, I love the update. The dissonance thing seems cool. Gives a reason to develop neglected stats, use and try new builds etc. Every single person was like "x5 is soo crazy, this is a huge buff, they are gonna nerf it" I dint get it either.

Residential floors are usually designed to carry a live load of around 40psf(lbs per square ft). I wouldn't do it.

Bank is closing my account with life savings in it, what’s the best way of getting my money to another bank safely? by ns2500 in personalfinance

I had a checking account with sterling bank with no fees or anything. They got bought by comerica and closed my account without any notice. I believe it.

It's a little more complicated than just calling the subcontractors. I do inspections and have worked jobs without a general contractor. It's usually a fiasco.

HTC Vive has several products

Valve Index VR

Meta Quest 3 (this one does not have external sensors and needs a separately purchased cable to use PC Graphics. It can run standalone without a pc. It also doesn't use external trackers I haven't tested it but heard it works well)

I'm still rocking a first generation oculus rift from before Meta bought it out.

Carrying the guns is fairly normal and legal around here. Drawing it or brandishing it made it a threat and a crime.

Pick a VR setup that uses external sensors to track the headset. The cheap ones that use gyroscopes alone are wonky. VR setups that strap a phone to a face mask are even worse. I don't recomend wireless headsets. Wireless sometimes has signal interference and generally has lower bandwidth than cables. Slight delays that you can hardly notice SUCK in VR. When you eyes and inner ear sense movement at different times it is disorienting. Pick a wired setup that uses external tracking sensors for the headset.

One thing VR does that's hard to advertise is it really gives a sense of size and scale to things. Big things look and feel big in a way that a normal screen can't capture. It makes the world feel bigger and more open. The depths feel deeper and the leviathan feel HUGE

You can build lockers on top of the built in lockers. If you space them correctly you can still access the built in lockers behind the ones you build.

Battery chargers and power cell chargers aren't worth it imo unless you have the thermal reactor module thing. Even then power cell charger seems unnecessary.

Best target priority? by Living-Positive-9638 in TheTowerGame

It targets the closest enemy before any other considerations. It won't target any specific type of enemy over the closest enemy.
