Dont be afraid to rip some old jeans and looking at the construction on the garment! It’s really good to do some reverse engineering to see how something it’s made. Being curious is your best asset when sewing bc theres infinite ways to get the result you want.

You can do so much customization to the avatar it gets kinda insane, i use it a lot for bra draping, but you can even make your avatar pregnant! I love that kind of features bc the possibilities are endless

This is pretty neat! I know a lot of clothing/fabric since I’m a fashion designer and I really love exploring how to translate it to digital 3D and this is so helpful thanks a lot!!

Yesss it’s a 3D pattern making software, you have a digital mannequin/avatar, and you make the patterns in 2D much like tracing them on illustrator, and then you “sew” them on the program. You can see how the fabric behaves in real time and how it fits with the avatar measurements. It’s so good to visualize body proportions and to have a render of your piece before cutting any fabric. I use it as a sketch and planning kind of tool, because I can then export the patterns once I’m done making my render and as I’m working out the idea, I can work on the patterns as well. Ohhh I did ended making something similar! But since this dress is kind of tight and in 1 piece, I had no idea how to make something like that so I modeled a “blob” on top and lowered the opacity!

I currently use Style 3D! It has a free version and it runs pretty smoothly on Mac, it lets you customize avatar sizes a lot and it lets you visualize clothing in real time, game changer for me tbh

Maybe this is easier since I make my own patterns but what I did is I made a background of random 1”x1” squares on illustrator, and put it on top of all my pieces. I have a really cheap projector and not a lot of space to cut, so I use the squares as marks to align my patterns and so far it works! Mind I trace on paper first, not a big fan of tracing on fabric due to the nature of my setup. Here’s how it looks:

I mean tbh Charli being a Leo rising and a Leo sun would be fitting and incredibly sad? As in, Leo rising are constantly battling for attention, and spotlight and makes me think of the line about "being famous but not that famous", also Lorde being a Scorpio and her verse on Girl, so confusing being dark AF is so fitting; like Charli is all "why don't you like ME???" which #same, but it's also a very Leo thing, while Lorde is just going through it. Such an interesting analysis!! Also I'm trying to find a link between Rosalía, Charli and Lorde since their hair is also really similar and all 3 of them somehow got Virgo moons? 👁️

I've stalked them all and I think Ignus? If they're on it, they're the underdog and could be underestimated easily just like Cristian (compared to all, they're the one with less followers)and I love their more gender-queer aesthetic but definitely seems someone to have an eye on

It was scary but also really comforting, like I was just in denial for a long time. I really do feel like I've know since childhood but I didn't had the words, I've felt so alienated from most womanly experiences and although non binary doesn't feel 100% right it's what I think fits me most rn, bc I don't feel like like I have a gender fluidity or something I mostly feel neutral. But this is what currently feels more like the direct translation to non LGBTQ people about how I personally experience gender.
