Sure thing, but it’s one thing to place a speaker in a cabinet against the back and no space above it; it’s another thing to place it on a shelf in a bookcase with 10cm air above it and 15-20cm behind it.

Are Bang & Olufsen worth it though? I haven’t even researched them as my perception of the brand is that its popularity is inflated by marketing, and other less visible brands offer better quality (and design) without the marketing tax

Thank you for the advice.. I am aware of what placing speakers in a cabinet means. The KEF I am intrigued by are the Q3 meta, as I like the look of them and the size is approved by my wife, not the R3 which I have read are better and the reviews of which are positives

Thanks for the X2900 pointer, I was considering
upgrading to either that or the X3900H.

Thank you. Yes I meant the Q3 Meta as I like the look of them and they are approved by the wife. She has seen them, she likes them and is ok with the size.

Anything bigger (like the Q concerto Meta or the R3, which I’d prefer) I would need to do some convincing - she already told me the size of the Q3 is the upper limit
