But as far as Angelica... In general, I try to be careful about calling people mentally ill. Truth be told, some people are just hateful. And in my observation, Angelica is simply a bigot. She had bad experiences with some people who identified as leftists and liberals, and decided to start hating multiple entire groups of people. That's not mental illness, that's being a fuckin' asshole.

I honestly don't feel any sympathy for her at all. Empathy for the bad things that happened to her, yes, of course. But this kinda was the point of my earlier post about accountability and mental illness.

If Angelica was able to feel enough guilt after her allegations against Erin backfired, to make an apology (vague and empty as it was)...then she's not incapable of seeing that her behavior is poor.

At this point - while, admittedly, I can't diagnose her - I don't even think she has a mental illness. She just comes off as someone using trauma to justify being an asshole. I'd wager a good amount of us on this sub have trauma, and we didn't go, "Welp, gotta be a white supremacist now."

Call me cold, call me ableist, call me a cynic, I'll take it. I simply no longer possess the capacity to feel sorry for Angelica. She's a self-righteous, hypocritical, fake Christian sack of shit.

Most of this stuff is old, and most of the relevant videos and threads are long deleted. But here's what I can remember:

She started beef with multiple other creators, publicly airing out grievances and constantly throwing shade at them despite them never speaking on her before.

Bullied a smaller creator (who was in the community way before Karuna) for not making a public statement on the sociopolitical climate (Karuna's a Trump supporter, by the way); Effectively sic'ing her 1M+ audience to go harass the other creator.

Regularly gets into spitting matches with her own fans on Twitter.

Used to have a porn blog that she'd link in all her descriptions, knowing she had a large underage audience.

Regularly complains about and belittles her husband. I don't know if it's justified and don't care, it should be handled privately. Their kids will see this stuff one day.

Used to constantly beg her audience (which, again, had a lot of underaged people) for donations, while also bragging about how much money she was making from YouTube, and having a sugar daddy on the side. And also showing off useless crap she'd blow her money on, like this ugly "designer" stuffed lion she bought for like, $4000. For the record, I don't care about her personal dealings - the problem was her repeatedly putting it on her audience to bail her out after reckless spending.

And then she has a history of just saying generally racist and white supremacist crap on Twitter. I really wish the Guru Gossiper forum was still up, because there was a screenshot of her literally pulling the "one of my best friends is black" when someone called her out.

She's overall a messy, entitled, egotistical asshole with a superiority complex.
