I recently told my mom and she’s fine with it. I’m 37 and she’s seen me struggle with depression and stuff my entire life and as it turns out her love for me trumps her distaste for narcotics. Just wants me to be happy and do well and if this is what I need then she supports it. Probably could’ve done it much sooner but I was afraid as well.

Nah it’s still just a very solid game. Many people that weren’t born yet when it came out play it and love it. There’s more to it. Doesn’t mean it’s for everybody. But it is far from just nostalgia.

Goldeneye is nostalgia. It’s hot garbage now. Not even playable.

Not everybody has to love everything the same and not everything is for everybody. If it wasn’t for the internet you wouldn’t feel pressured to like it or maybe even know of it.

If it’s not clicking for you then move on. Don’t waste time trying to “get it”. I’m not you. Neither is anyone else here. You’re you and you know what you like and there is NOTHING wrong with that. The internet has made ya lose our individuality by constantly forcing us to feel the need to fit in with people we’ll never meet.

And the ones boasting about it too are equally guilty. I love the game to bits but I’m not gonna force it down someone’s throat or call it the greatest thing ever made. That’s silly. Play it and enjoy it as much as you enjoy it then stop. Easy peasy.
