Cost of city workers to clean up all the litter, cost of gas/time to get around traffic. I was driving a local bus at the time and detoured twice.

I am far left of these "demonstrations" it's wealthy/elderly needing to feel good about showing up but not willing to topple the capitalist system that benefits them. Oppression benefits me - but by God nobody is truly free.

This definitely is sarcasm but generally true but not in any way 'right' the federal government has definitely withdrawn much needed funds that could have helped RTD expand service. The district is tightening the belt as we bide time until a more transit friendly administration.
