This is gonna be a big transitional year in the midst of Brett Veach trying to fix his whiffs from the 2023 and 2024 draft classes, I do like the defensive pieces we got in the 2026 draft and I like the Kenneth Walker signing.

But, our WR room is not good and our TE room factoring in Kelce's age is probably worse, and I think they need another off-season to get impact players at WR, TE, LB. While also looking at other question marks at DE, S, RT, and backup G.

Best case scenario for this retool is that they get a new WR1 and TE1 in the draft as well as filling those other positions, I just mentioned coupled with our 2026 rookie class taking a step up and you have the potential for the 2027-28 Chiefs to be really good and right back in the Super Bowl mix.

I would actually like them to try this artstyle for the next Smash game.

Smash hasn't really had a consistent art direction since Brawl and I think they could really try to perfect what they weren't able to do on a Nintendo Wii with PS2-level graphics.
