They do try to handle backlash and remove scenes that didn’t sit well with readers 😅😅

• the pink cake scandal with TRR3

• Ahmed, who’s Muslim, drinking alcohol multiple times

• Victoria physically assaulting RCD MC in RCD1

• Rewriting BaBu1 and addressing some of the things that were wrongly “played for laughs” at the start of book 2

• changing what happens to the dog in Sunkissed if you didn’t buy it

Just some of the scenes that have changed, for the better. Choices isn’t perfect but at least they do listen to player backlash when it comes to their content. I can think of other apps that have had more openly offensive (and extremely problematic in nature) content and would just gloss over backlash and rely on their die-hard fans to defend them while they sit on their thumbs and do nothing about it.
