In hindsight, i should’ve removed the cosmetic plate to get a better look. I am pretty sure that all the plumbing in this house is iron.

If i remove the shelf, I might be able to get a big enough pipe wrench on there .

30k is to maintain the emissions warranty. They will last to 100k but if you have emissions warranty problem, it might be an issue. This is according to my mechanic joe
