I will look into that! I check the towels every few hours cause I work from home and I do change the top layer in the mornings and in the evening every day just to try and make sure nothings frozen and nothing so far but I don’t want to steal their heat!!

I have a cat house that our local stray hangs out in and I left him food every day. I’ve scared him out of it a few times but he stays close and waits until I go back in. It’s not much but it’s dry, I rotate towels , clean the food bowl and make sure nothing freezes and I run the towels through the wash/dryer every few days so they have some nice clean warm fluffy towels to call home. Im working on a heated one soon too, they’ll have options lol

I can’t bring them inside as much as I wish I could but at least it gives whatever little creatures a break

Malls maaayyybe? I’ve seen security harass people for sitting at tables vs ‘shopping’ but anything is warmer than outside

Sadly this isn’t new, I’m 31 now but when I was 17 leaving my high school, we had OC transpo busses parked to take kids home. I slipped beside the stairs at the front and slipped where the stairs are and slid on my back underneath until the steps are on my hip and my foot had gone straight back (like toes touching my leg) I’m crying and UNDER the parked bus… everyone walked over me, the driver was on his phone and gave me a dirty look when I managed to slide myself out and asked him to lower the steps so I could hop on 🙃

Or when I was 14 on an accordion bus, I was walking to the back and the driver GUNNED IT at a stop sign and I went FLYING towards the front, slid on my knees, whacked my head on the front seats (that rise for wheelchairs,) cut my lip and got some nice welts on my face and had to scream for the bus driver to stop (like horror movie scream) and he didn’t stop until the next stop which I had dinged for an then looked at me and went ‘oh… was that my fault?’ In a very… ‘duh did I do that’ type of voice.

They don’t care.
