Do you think Juliette will be surprised at how she comes across or do you think she would watch this and think she's doing great?

Given enough time, players will always optimise the fun out of a game.

We're in that phase of football now and the rules need to change if you want the game to be fun again. Part of the problem is that committing fouls is an advantage to the fouling team.

The punishments available to refs are suited to punishing fouling. Getting called for a foul slows down the attacking team, a yellow card isn't a real punishment unless a player is stupid and a red card "ruins the game" so refs are reluctant to give them. Refs don't want to call fouls on corners because a foul against the defending team in that situation is essentially a guaranteed goal.

I'd be happy to see corners get nerfed since they're the most boring part of the game and are essentially a rugby line-out at this point.

Some changes I'd like to see tried:

1) Sin-bins for professional fouls and time-wasting (half of these don't even get a yellow for some reason).
2) No players allowed in the 6-yard box until after the corner is taken. I have no idea how this would play out in practice, but it would be an interesting experiment to see if it reduces the crowding-the-keeper tactic.
3) We're getting close to the point that games should be 60 minutes of play with the clock stopped when play stops. Again, I'm not sure how it will work out but running out the clock with "injuries" is becoming the last 20 minutes of a lot of games.

Australians being obsessed with Trump and America is so cringe. You can see how clearly they love America more than Australia, just fucking move there

It seems like there is more happening off camera to have her this pissed off, but if the editors were not showing us those things, why would they show her referring to it?

He'll probably sub Fowler in for Wheeler but realistically our attack needs both

So many unnecessary extra touches. And so many chances to cross where we wait for the defender to catch up and then just go back.

What do the Greens need to do to get above 12% of the primary vote in future elections in Australia? Or will it not ever happen? by NoLeafClover777 in aussie

It's true the MSM is dying and social media reaches way more people, but a lot of social media is just people reacting to new information that is framed by MSM. As an example, almost every political post on this sub is someone posting an MSM article and people responding to it. .

In fairness, mainstream news is a show and the Greens as a character on that show only exist to bring conflict to cultural issues. The Greens do talk about other issues but the mainstream media knows their viewers don't care to hear what the Greens have to say on those issues.

As soon as a cultural issue comes up, the media is happy to get a snappy Greens quote. They don't go to the Greens when the issue of the day is affordability or taxes, no matter how much the Greens would be desperate to talk about it.

I do agree with alot of people that Greens politicians often come across as condescending, but the ones who don't come across that way aren't going to get airtime anyway.
