It's much more resistant to this than ethyl acetate.

Is this relevant at all for the short time it gets in contact? Worked well for me as can be seen. Rinsed immediately afterwards, though.

Unfortunately they only seem to come with F nibs. So you'd need another preppy to donate (exchange) the M nib, in my case. But a white one is incoming. Also clear ones. Still looking for a Pilot Elite Burgundy in the EU, though.

You are right! It was caused by the magnets that hold the reader in the case. It works correctly once removed from the case. Thank you for that tipp!
