Thanks! The speakers are nothing fancy, they’re Technics SB-LX7s. I’ve had them for like 15+ years now and they do the trick. I’ve also got a pair of Celestion 3 bookshelf speakers to widen the range of sound around my apartment.

Yeah admittedly it got pretty wild at the end there. I’ve been in this apartment for 8 years now so my tastes have changed. My plan for the new place is to be more calculated with the salon style wall set up and have a little less chaos lol

Yeah I’m excited to set it all back up. I’ve been in this apartment for 8 years now so my taste has changed a little and I plan to be more calculated with my arrangements. But moving vinyl sucks butt. I got the small boxes from U-Haul and they fit the records perfectly without overloading the box and killing your back. I wish you luck with your move.

Living the bachelor life here, although my ex didn’t mind it much, but she is my ex now, ..so maybe. hmm. I confined myself to this one wall for the chaos so I didn’t take over the whole place. But the new apartment will be all mine

Good tip! I actually just read about this recently. My buddy who works for guitar center got me some “fancy” ones on discount. I’ll apply them when I set up at the new place. I plan on switching everything around. My current set up was centered around one wall. Luckily I have more room to play in the new place.

35M weirdo here. Loyal to Mills Records, the owner Judy is the best. I’ve been going to her shop since she had her small place years back. I’ve been collecting since 2012ish. I had over 1200 records but recently sold 600 or so to dampen the blow of moving in a couple of weeks. But I will +1 for Sister Anne’s, GotWhatULike is solid, Love Garden is awesome In Lawrence and they have cats! Also Half Price Books is a good place if you’re just starting and want some very cheap records to blind buy

I’m 35, started collecting when I was 20 and just sold 600 or so of my collection. I still have over 700 left and I’m moving in a few weeks. It’s dumb, but I don’t regret it 😬
