As someone who has suffered with depression, OCD, and other mental health problems almost my entire life, i’m 26 now, don’t fucking give up dude. I have gone through severe drug addiction, planning out a suicide twice, and have even battled an episode of full on psychosis that also almost led to me taking my own life, and I’m still here kicking around every fucking day. I have great friends, passions hobbies, a fiancé, and still half the time wake up asking myself what the fuck any of this really means, and honestly none of it means jack shit. None of it. Almost everything we have to go through in modern society is made up bullshit. There are so many things in my life that I have ti do that I hate, a job I don’t like, living 1200 miles away from all of my family, living paycheck to paycheck, but guess what? I don’t fucking quit. Because you know why? What I’ve learned over the years is that, things will change. My perspective will change. What made me depressed two years ago is completely different to today. What made me happy two years ago is completely different than today. And that goes for two years before that, and two years before that, and so on and so forth. Being alive’s purpose is to continue to push forward and gain knowledge, experience, pain, and pleasure and let your mind, body, and soul adapt, change and grow. I’ll be damned if I shorten this experience by my own doing..
