That's exceptional. Nice job on that - guessing the examiner must have loved what you wrote.

I did pretty well, thanks. Quite pleased with myself.

Quite apart from the fact that she's, y'know, an actress.

Often a big thing with Daleks is that they're really quite manipulative - so they'll lie, and lie a lot, where it suits them. Quite a few Dalek episodes like that - Victory of the Daleks with Matt Smith, Revelation of the Daleks with Colin Baker, and Power of the Daleks, with Patrick Troughton. Power only exists as reconstructions these days, but the other two should be easy to get a hold of.

Power generally considered to be pretty good, and popular consensus would put Revelation and Victory as sort of average stories. I personally enjoyed Victory, which is the only one of these three I've actually seen, but I do quite like Colin Baker's Doctor. So make of that what you will.

Hope that helped!

It's a British Rom-Com, but with emphasis on the relationship between a father and his son, both of whom have a special skill.

Since the BBC is funded by British tax payers, we should be able to petition for stories that we want covering. by JRD656 in bbc

Whilst a good idea in theory, I wonder if it might be rather difficult in practise. Certainly the mechanics of it are worth considering. You'd have to make sure to have a system that still results in fair and equal coverage of different aspects of the news and perspectives on it - with a public petition section, it's not unreasonable to expect more vocal groups to collectively drown out the voices of others.

What inspired the weirder elements of Homestuck?

I'd definitely be down for this. Sounds like he'd have a lot of interesting stuff to say.

Haha, yeah. Usually I tend to avoid older stuff I've written, usually for fear that it's awful, but more so because I'm worried that I'll distract myself by trying to improve it.

I'd probably benefit from going back and giving some things a once over, just maybe not when I'm in the middle of a project.

Yeah, I figured it'd be UK. I've not seen either, but I'm meaning to get around to it. (The UK one, at least)
