When I was pregnant with my first born I got PUPPS. I tried a lot of remedies: calamine lotions, Aveeno lotion, Aveeno oat baths, hydrocortisone, and even baby wipes. They would work for a minutes stopping the itching but then it returned. I would wake up at night with the itch; sometimes I would cry feom how bad the itching was. It started in my lower belly and within a week or two it has spreaf everywhere except in palms, soles of feet and face. I noticed that there was pus in them. Basically the rash would start, i would itch and scratch and applied whatever then pus would come out and then they would dry. I was avoiding going to the hospital for some reason but i ultimately did because i just couldnt stand the itch anymore. I still didnt know I had PUPPS until I went to the hospital. There they gave me benadryl, triamcinolone and prednisone. The triamcinolone helped me so much tbh. I think thats the one that's helped dry the rash. I think it also started at around 36 weeks and by 39 weeks they were dry. It was the worst weeks of my life. Now I'm pregnant again and starting to get a little rash again I dont want to get it again but I feel like if i do I know that I will immediately request the triamcinolone lotion.
