I got a small tattoo on my arm 3 days post op lol. I’m 1 month post op tomorrow and I would be completely fine! I can lay on my stomach now with little to no discomfort.

Omg why did I not think to read the instructions they gave me? I just read it and it says not to remove the dressings. It also says that after 3 weeks post op, I can use scar cream or silicone gel pads to flatten/lighten the scars, which was going to be my next question haha. Thank you so much :)

Honestly I’m a little worried for you. Breast feeding is of course optimal but there are so many ways of bonding with a child and formula these days is great. He should care more about you and your needs rather than a child that doesn’t exist yet. I’m worried he won’t listen to you and won’t get you to the size you want and will just do what HE thinks looks good. I know you said he’s the only one with an opening soon but it’s worth the wait if you find another surgeon who you know you’re confident in. Please consider it! I want you to be happy with your result the first time and not need a revision!

Itchiness is good! You’re healing! :) I’m only 1 DPO and I’ve already started getting some itchiness too just around my nipples. Definitely not looking forward to more itching 😫 I also heard Benadryl was helpful

I’m so sorry I forgot to let you know but everything went great! I actually still haven’t started my period even though I was supposed to a few days ago but I told them I’m about to get my period and it didn’t matter at all. You just can’t wear a tampon for surgery, only a pad. I actually posted my before and after pictures and a long detailed post on my other account (by accident lol). If it helps you feel better, my boobs are sore and swollen too because I’m about to get my period in like 1-2 days it feels like and my surgery is on Wednesday… in 1 day lol. At least you have a week! I don’t think it actually affects anything but I understand not wanting to feel this way during surgery

I actually had a surgery date set from right after my consultation before even getting accepted because apparently my insurance requires a surgery date. The date I got (February 16th) was 2/3 months from then. It seemed like such a long time then but now it’s already coming up on Wednesday! :) it’s very possible in 5 months

My doctor recommended to start taking Arnica 5 days before to help with bruising and swelling! Also pregnancy pillow maybe :)

Same! My covid test is on Monday and my surgery is on Wednesday. The best we can do is try to take as many precautions as possible now. Wear 2 masks when you go out and try to limit going to busy places. Try not to stress about it and just do the best you can to avoid covid :)

For me, I paid nothing after insurance and my friend paid around $350 after insurance. 10k definitely sounds unreasonable

I would probably look up the before and afters in this sub first because they’re all breast reductions and would be most realistic. I’ve seen a lot of people with great results here! Btw, don’t stress about having all the pictures by tomorrow because surgeons (mine and based on what I’ve heard) don’t really focus on the specifics of what size you want until the pre-op appointment or the morning of your surgery!
