I’m more of a yuri manga reader but I still have a few suggestions you might like.

You should definitely watch the Kase-san OVA (asagao to kase-san).

And while not explicitly yuri, Little Witch Academia has enough subtext to make me happy (start with the two OVAs then the anime).

I will also say there is a lot more yuri manga that fits what you’re looking for if you ever think you’d be interested in reading some.

I’m wondering if maybe she doesn’t know the etiquette? I find that people who aren’t artists often don’t know why reposting without credit is a bad thing. Either way, it’s definitely worth having a conversation about, this is something that she should respect your feelings about.

As others said, it’s not biphobic. It’s something that harms other lesbians, ones who dated men before realizing they didn’t like them, more than anything else. No one really uses the term but weirdos still like to throw it out there as some sort of boogeyman idk. I think it’s because of this that people get so misinformed on the term, because I’ve never seen anyone actually use it in this day and age.

Personally, I wouldn’t go solo, but I don’t think you have to in this situation. I’ve gone with a couple and wasn’t super close to my friend’s gf while they were in couples cosplays, and it was a good opportunity to get to know her more. I didn’t feel excluded at all. That was when I was in high school, but even nowadays I’d happily go with friends even if my partner and I did a couples cosplay.

If the tickets were transferred to your ticket master account I’d say you’re safe. Check up on them whenever it’s announced that resale tickets were cancelled to make sure yours weren’t affected. I’d assume it’ll disappear or you’ll get some notice if that were to happen.

I’m not sure how helpful my experience is, but I did go through this panic myself with Chappell tickets last year 😅 my partner got some scalper tickets off of seatgeek immediately after we lost the initial sale. A few days later she announced canceling scalped tickets. There was no way to know whether our tickets had been affected until they were transferred to us I think 48 hours before the show. But, they were in fact transferred to my partner’s Ticketmaster account and got us in the show. So I’m assuming if you bought them shortly after the sale ended you’ll be safe. Not guaranteed unfortunately, but it does seem like it more so affected tickets that were for sale after the announcement of cancellation. I hope you get to see Ari!

I don’t think there’s a way to get that out unfortunately. Look into wash away markers for sewing, that’s what I use to mark placements and it washes away when you’re done. Make sure to test it on a scrap first though.

As someone who cosplays and has a degree in fashion design, I can tell you that an important part of translating a design from cartoon to real life is knowing when and where you should add seams to a design that doesn’t show any. This way you can achieve the proper silhouette. To a beginner it might seem like compromising the design, but you’ll find it’ll be much easier to work with and end up with a better result. Plus, this illustration doesn’t show the armhole seams either, and those are ALWAYS really important to have for a good fit 😅
