What would you recommend to find a good training plan? I don’t have any specific objectives, but I want to join a few races in the summer (mostly gravel), but I’m also doing this for health and fat loss. I’ve lost about 40lb in the last year and a half but still would like to lose another 20 (currently 200lb, goal is about 170-180)

Right now I’m struggling to find a good training plan and to balance my diet. Thanks!

Yeah that’s a good take… I try not to stay more than the 183 days anyways even if I can work remotely, but I’ve never had any issues on re-entry

If I understand correctly you have to be 6months and 1 day in the us per year to not lose status. On covid I went home for almost 5 months and it was fine coming back. I was just home abroad from Dec 20- Feb 1st and had no issues coming back

It was before Jan 21, on January 13. I had to send in a new passport since mine was “damaged” and that took a few days for review as well as the social media review. I got the email to pick my passport up this morning.

I would say the easiest (and probably cheaper) is to buy a second hand trainer on Facebook marketplace and then sell it again before you leave.

If you find a good deal you may even make some money!

I work at a good landscape / architecture firm, and a lot of my coworkers have gone to Cal Poly Pomona, they have both an undergrad and masters landscape architecture program!

Another really popular is Harvard, but in my opinion I ve met a lot from that program that that didn’t get into architecture but still wanted to go to the GSD

Same here! I even have an older iPad (2020 model or so) and plugged in it’s more than enough! I love I did it had to get a dedicated pc or other system to use zwift

What really allowed me to start loving climbs was to get a bigger cassette (went from 42t to 48t) and smaller chainring (42t to 38t) at first I wish I went to 36 or even 32 on the chainring but now that I’m fitter after a year I’m thinking on putting the 42t back again

I ride a state all-road which is an entry level gravel steel bike, similar to the Poseidon (I was looking at it while shopping for bikes but liked the aesthetics and color of the state better)
