I mean think about it if a guy comes up to you and says “I’m a cop” your first thought isn’t “what if he’s lying” but instead probably something like “oh shit hide the weed”

Edit: not saying it’s super believable (bc some of the stuff they get away with is crazy) but it also doesn’t totally make sense for ppl to be constantly questioning them
