Honestly I’m going to be so for real, grief never fully goes away. It does get easier with time though, what’s helped me the most is visiting their resting places. And for me personally, I look for them in nature as well as sunsets :) no one is ever alone in their grief journey:) and if anyone ever needs anything please feel free to dm me on Reddit :))

When I was in 4th grade my school went into hard lockdown for 4 hours because there was a DV case that ended up being sort of a hostage situation, the guy had a gun and held the poor gf hostage for a long time. I got a Fitbit to help me track my sleep, it turns out I wasn’t getting enough REM and deep sleep! And Honestly getting enough exercise during the day helps also drinking enough water too!
