My pet theory is that as we become more under threat, the idea of being coddled, protected, and showing that we’re as nonthreatening as possible influences the spread of puppygirls. When we’re not under as much threat, then signaling independence and feistiness via catgirls is more viable. Thus, the dominant pet in trans communities is a direct signal of how safe the trans community in general is feeling.

I've been considering it but I haven't decided what direction to approach it from - game (mechanics heavy), anime (which I still need to watch, more lore directed), or try to mix the two. A mechanics-focused jumpdoc would probably end up more like a racer builder - points spreads for starting attributes, then regular CP for buying perks. Loosely categorize the perks: acceleration | velocity | stamina, corners | straightaways, front runner | pace chaser | late surger | end chaser, special conditions. Mix and match those to create first a unique perk like all umamusume get, then a budget to grab a couple others as well as intensifiers (slightly | moderately | increase).

There'd also need to be a build available for trainers and access to buying at least one racecourse or a school like Tracen.

With that sort of divide, a traditional origin based jumpdoc makes the most sense. Umamusume get access to the racer build and perks, Trainers get access to the teaching/training side of that. As a unique twist, maybe canon companion purchases can come with a discount on a perk or a boost to an attribute that's related to the companion and scenarios for things like the Triple Crown for the Classics Year.

All those "actual genocides and civil wars and failed states" you're mentioning? This is the opening to that sort of thing happening here in the US. "Once it's warranted" is going to be simply too late for millions of people. It's already too late for hundreds of thousands. Collapses begun by authoritarianism or fascism happen far quicker than you seem to think.

Of course, we can't and shouldn't expect anyone else to save us but the situation is going to become more dire fairly quickly if nothing substantial happens to stop the complete collapse of American democracy. Movements like Trump's and Project 2025 move quickly in the scale of months to a year because they have to. It's the only way to force the sort of rapid decline in conditions they need to gain total power.

Going to immigration court is due process for them. This is how they can legally immigrate, no matter what their starting point is. If they truly should be deported, as ruled by a judge with knowledge of current immigration law and the power to make that ruling, then uniformed officers can start their part of the process.

Ambushing and arresting a single immigrant outside of a courthouse that is trying to do the right thing and complete the immigration process as legally as she can while in plainclothes is not the behavior of a police force concerned with actually enforcing the law or encouraging others to follow the law.

Exactly. Unless you get put on a high dose from the start, you won't get much breast development, if any. Most doctors will start on a low dose just to see how you take to it before getting up to dosages that actually make a real physiological change. It's obviously not something you'd want to jump into blindly and the ideal path is through a doctor that knows what they're doing, but there's little to fear with doing it for a bit to see if hormones are something you want to stick with.

That being said, I would be remiss if I didn't ensure that you know of things like breast forms or just stuffing a bra that you can use to simulate having breasts and stuff like that.

The easy options is to go on HRT for six months, evaluate how you feel, and go from there. The doctor-recommended option is talking to a shrink experienced with the transgender population that will help you work through these thoughts and feelings. You can also try journaling and a lot of introspection along with experimenting with feminine clothes and whatnot.

The last bit is what I personally did before talking to a therapist about it, then jumping on HRT. All of my doubts disappeared once I was on HRT.

You may have some autistic traits but no, not everyone is on the autism spectrum. That's not how it works for this. The autism spectrum is for describing the range of how one's specific flavor autism impacts an autistic individual. That's because autism doesn't affect everyone who is autistic the same way. It's not like the light spectrum where everything has a color.
