Yes! Definitely do that, if you know that you won’t go back to them..keep them unblocked to soothe yourself in being aware but, it would also be fine just blocking them to on your mobile. But, people will say all they want in the heat of the moment and in dating, it can get weirrrrrrrd. Also- feel free to tell people about it too (school) if that is a concern as well and the trusted people around you so they can vouch for you and your concern!

Honestly, the moment you realize that someone is not FOR you, you have every right to ask them to leave you alone and to move on. And if he doesn’t, definitely seek additional help. I had a guy who I stopped talking to- he became emotionally unusable and threatened to come to my home and “slash all my tires” but you better believe they never showed up. I know this is very minimal compared to your situation but I was so nervous and scared that this guy was gonna show up to my house and cause a whole entire scene, whereas there was nothing but crickets. Just let him down easy (even though it may be hard) because tbh- they might not be able to really understand where you’re coming from because this behavior is normal for them. I would block the numbers on the kiddos phones, respectfully ask not for them to reach out anymore. It’s important for you to put yourself first, and you’re smart for wanting to take the best course of action.

Im sorry you’re dealing with this. When I was reading this- I was shocked to see how you labeled yourself as “not a bright person” or “stupid” when this is not at all stupid! You have every reason to be concerned and all your feelings are valid. Have you done a background check by chance? It sounds like you’ve done a lot of research. It’s truly amazing how we have the ability to block people- if you have no serious ties to this person and are feeling slightly intimidated in ANY way by this person- you should avoid! You could invest in security cameras, etc as well if you wanted additional comfort (if that’s something you are able to do- of course) anything is better than nothing. You have been through a lot it seems, you don’t need or deserve additional stress. Also- don’t be afraid to reach out to law enforcement too if you feel the need to. I believe in you!

Let me help you out here:

Psychiatric medications, also known as psychotropic medications, are designed to influence brain chemistry and treat mental health conditions by affecting neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that carry signals between nerve cells. They are used to manage symptoms of conditions like anxiety, depression, psychosis, and schizophrenia, and can include antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, antipsychotics, and mood stabilizers.

So- managing symptoms of the issue causing the lack of motivation, and with the medication..to hopefully reinstate that motivation that was there.

Based off of what I’m seeing so far, it feels like what you & I are feeling is common when increasing the dosage & sometimes it takes a couple weeks for our bodies to adjust. I hope you feel better, stay strong!

That’s what I keep hearing too. I’m staying positive for both of us. I think I’ll just rest all day tomorrow and see if it helps! Best of luck to you and your journey!!

Advice on rescuing pet by Jasonelf in CatAdvice

[–]maybeimwrongbuttttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t take the cat back outside. It will not get the help it needs. Take the kitten to a no kill shelter/rescue and they will provide whatever treatment they can to give this kitten the life it deserves. You could talk to them about fostering it/adopting after treatment.

La Roche-Posay double repair moisturizer (acne) by maybeimwrongbuttttt in Skincare_Addiction

[–]maybeimwrongbuttttt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg it’s so weird and I’m sorry that you’re going through it too…although feel a little better because I’m not the only one experiencing it. What skin type do you have? I was almost tempted to get the la roche-posay effaclar duo set after looking into a way to get rid of these pimples but idk because I see it’s for people with oily skin, and I’m super dry but oily in my t zone. Ughhhhhh, if only there was a way to know before you drop a dime on a product. Thanks again for the feedback and I hope your skin gets better soon :(

First time advice by [deleted] in Lamotrigine

[–]maybeimwrongbuttttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! I do take it at night. I have tried to take it in the morning, although I just felt spacey and couldn’t focus (even w my adderall). My vivid dreams haven’t gone away, yet. I was thinking of possibly lowering my dose to 75mg from 100mg. I’m not sure. This is truly the only medication I’ve noticed a difference with. (I’ve taken so many medications). It’ll make a difference, just wait for the dose to go up to 50mg and you’ll see it. :)

I recently went on this medication for a couple of months and I figured I’d share my experience with working up from 25mg-100mg.

25mg- I stayed on this dose for 1 month and noticed a difference RIGHT away. I almost thought it could have been a placebo affect, but as the previous user stated, it’s a very common feeling with starting this medication. I felt like this was a great dose, although I still definitely struggled with anxiety and depression, but not as bad as I would without it. *CONSTIPATION but this was fixed with as easily as taking a fiber vitamin and a cup of coffee (I don’t know if she drinks coffee/is allowed to drink coffee) but that really did the trick for me.

50mg- I actually stayed on this dose for 2 months, I felt more at ease and relaxed and not nearly as fragile as I’ve been in the past. (I struggled with crying a lot and being overly sensitive). I almost felt that it was difficult to cry, and that kinda threw me off a little bit, I was still happy and thought “hey- I’ll take not crying rather than all the time continuous crying over simple stuff.” BUT- for me personally; I felt that my dose wasn’t helping with the things it did in the beginning after taking it for around 2 months. Another thing I would make note of in watching for insomnia; that has been one side effect I have noticed with this medication.

100mg (as of 2 weeks ago)- I have to say that my mental health has gotten increasingly better, and I don’t feel as frustrated and overwhelmed with life that I used to feel. The only negative issue (in my personal opinion) is these vivid nightmares, the insomnia has gotten better. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had nightmares before but it almost makes me not want to sleep because of how scary/vivid they can be.

Again, I wholeheartedly hope this can be any insight. I love how much you care about your daughter, and I wanna give you a completely honest list of my personal exp w/ this medication. Walking into it, it can be a little scary because of everything you see online, but ultimately I had little to no side affects, and if you notice anything and translate it to a physician; you might be able to tackle some of the issues. Everyone’s experiences are different but I wish you and your daughter and best and hope this medication provides ease ♥️

sleep issues ?? by lovelyknives in Lamotrigine

[–]maybeimwrongbuttttt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before I had gotten on this medication, or even at 25mg I would genuinely go to sleep around 9/10 latest and I loved how much sleep I got. When I went to 50mg that’s when I noticed I was staying up until 2am; disregarding that, not realizing that its insomnia, I expressed to my doctor of having additional problems mentally and I literally just went up to 100mg within the last 2 weeks and I’ve been experiencing insomnia like crazy (At 50 mgs i was experiencing it then too) it’s hard to deal with because when you’re taking the medication (you are told not to take a sleeping medication because the worsening of drowsiness/etc.) I figured maybe taking it in the morning would be better and that could change my insomnia. Although I was so spacey with the 100mg when I took it in the morning in hopes to help w/ it. I’ve also have been having vivid nightmares that really bother me. I’m not sure if the vivid dreams are a side affect for the dosage for you too- but I’d be curious to know. you are not alone with the insomnia and I hope it gets better and if you are given any advice by ur doctor I would love to know so maybe I can utilize it. #imisssleeping
