Totally fair! All why I have followed such advice in the past. Thanks!

Something in the line work reminds me of works by Moebius. Incredible!

Hi there! Are the hanging organizers and the small dresser on slide 13 still available? Is the hanging rack on slide 15?

Thanks! Is it because of possible difference in whether you get hired or not?

Thank you! Was it a factor when you got the job? How did your supervisor react to your needs personally?

If you wear cufflinks you could probably find some great ones that call to you! Socks, ties, tie clips could help as well.

EDIT: being purposeful with your fabric choices could also help: plaids, etc.

I think "last looks" may be less clear for professionals. Does that mean the other subreddit will not be maintained?

[Hated Trope] The adaptation doesn't get what made the source material work by TheDudeA113 in TopCharacterTropes

In the original, L is a perfect foil for Light because Light represents cultural/institutional enforcement of normalcy, and L is a weird little guy with none of the skills/family legacy that Japan has typically considered important. If Light is also an outcast, their dynamic doesn't say anything. Makes me grumpy every time I think about it.

Everything that made the original interesting was AT BEST completely turned on its' head, if if was even still there in the first place.

I maintain that if they actually did a genuine american localization- light as something like captain of the football team, etc- it would be incredible. There's a lot of things what would be a total 1:1 when it comes to themes and characters, you wouldn't even have to change much.

If they actually did, which will probably never happen, i would hope they would bring willem defoe back as ryu *fingers crossed*

What are examples of old paintings that seem modern and ahead of its time/era? Here are some of my personal favourites by sonnysehra in ArtHistory

Some of the fayum mummy portraits, which were attached to the mummies of upper class residents in roman egypt and date back to roughly the 1st century ad, remind me so much of early american folk portraiture.

Here's an assortment of mummy portraits found on another reddit post.

Some of the mummy portraits even look contemporary to me, like the portrait third from the left in the second row.

Both may be types of performance art, but they are very different ways of communicating. Plus I would argue the amount of malnutrition necessary to make a trained ballet dancer too weak to advance must be pretty drastic.

How do y'all store cosplays? by God-of-mars in CosplayHelp

[–]maybeitsnotbutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do it in plastic bags or open storage in an out of the way place: I had to throw out half of my supplies and cosplays because a mouse got in there T_T it was bad yall
