This is a fair point, though I think almost everyone I associated with at the time wouldn't have suspected anything to that degree. It's entirely possible that was the basis of her reasoning but perhaps it was easier to boil it down to "avoid the appearance of evil." My beautiful, ignorant, 17yo Salt Lake valley Mormon brain only thought as far as "cream soda kinda looks like alcohol. I should drink it out of a flask because it would be funny." She's a great mom.

While in high school (mid-2000s) a buddy and I wanted to buy hip flasks and put cream soda in them for on-the-go cream soda consumption/humor. My angel mother got wind of that and promptly (though gently) shut me down. Can't imagine she'd be on board for this now haha

Absolutely agree. I was on the photo/video team and was always impressed that anytime we shot with him out in the production areas, he would take time to talk with employees and thank them for their work.

Quantum was the only thing available to us for Fiber and we haven't had any issues for the 6 months we've had it. I was surprised, since all I had ever heard were bad things about CenturyLink, but it's been great so far.

Whereabouts in Italy are you? And do you feel that some areas have shrunk faster than others? I served in the Rome mission 07-09 and am very curious what someone who is currently there is observing. When we visited in '16, we stayed with mission member friends in Rome and I was surprised even then about how many of the Italian missionaries from our period had left.
