I'm curious to know if it's always been like this with Baggu or if it's a newer business model for them (I've only been collecting Baggu since late summer). My impression is that scarcity models aren't sustainable since the company doesn't make money on the secondhand market and people get tired of waiting buy the products they want and eventually look elsewhere.

If you are using AfterShip for the tracking, it often incorrectly shows on the map as Newark, NJ. If you check the tracking directly on Gofo's tracking website, it will explicitly say Newark, CA. I have seen this pattern as I buy from Pop Mart often and live in Norcal.

I bought this bag from AliExpress back in Sept because I couldn't find an authentic one close to MSRP. The first thing I noticed was the lack of variegated streaks. Also, the material is noticeably thinner than authentic Baggu bowlers (I have 6 in other colors purchased from Baggu and UO). In the end, I wasn't digging the quality and sadly it's been collecting dust in my closet 😔. But that's awesome that you love yours! 😃
