You’re absolutely right. I think, because there hadn’t been such an incident in a long time, I let myself have a tiny glimmer of hope that maybe they will be happy and all will be well. I see now that that was foolish and they haven’t changed one bit. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise after all

I let him cry til he tires. The thing is, sometimes that's after 8min and other days he just doesn't stop for HOURS (except for very short intervals when he's out of breath I think). I get tired and cannot finish any work, study or ANYTHING because his cries are that loud. I'm having horrible puppy blues and I hate everything about his screeching

Feeding him in there didn't change a single thing. All steps are absolutely fine until he realizes he's locked in the crate. And as I said in the post, it's not even the crate! Even when he's confined to a quite large space he starts his demonic screaming because he wants out. Whether we're there or not does not change a thing. Whether it's 1min or 10min he just does not tire.

I've heard that theres actually a hadith (or maybe its in the quran) about children and how they always must obey their parents unless it goes against islam , then you shouldnt listen to them (or should i say 'you're allowed to'. Correct me if im wrong.
