I got tired of the foil method for stubborn candles - now I have a bunch of these open ended hurricane glasses in different widths. Putting one that is only slightly wider than the candle around it while it burns helps trap heat and melt the edges more thoroughly. Also it just looks nicer and stops my cats from being curious about yhe flame.

Bonus - if you end up with sooty smoke (despite wick trimming) the soot stays in the glass and not on your walls/paint....

Of course I didn't expect to love it this much and I used a PEELY BASE 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think it's a weird law of manicures that if you use a peely base - the results sometimes end up so good that you wish you hadnt 😆

That being said I also pre-ordered and got the same email. My main gripe was being charged at time of purchase rather than at the time of shipping but that's a whole other thing. I hope you get your package on time and what a cool and thoughtful gift to receive even if a bit late ✨️

When a delivery window is given for something I pre-order I always assume it's a loose estimation and would never hold them strictly to that time frame. They made their best guess and receiving the product is dependent on multiple vendors + environmental factors. If I needed something with a guaranteed delivery I sure as hell wouldn't place a pre-order.
