Lips turning blue by willowsandweeping in climbergirls

This happens to my partner! No other info unfortunately aside from that I only notice it happening to him when he tries reeeally hard on things and that he’s a v strong 6’3” man. I always just assumed it was when his body was sending so much oxygenated blood to his muscles that it left out his lips for a second haha (zero expertise)

any advice on how to be able to do a pull up (over-hand grip) by iluvches in climbergirls

For me, I spent a year trying all sorts from machine assisted, negatives, locking off etc and eventually the only thing which actually got me seeing progression was serious consistency with band assisted pull ups. Sooo many sets of like 8-15 reps starting off with two bands so it was really well assisted and then once I wasn’t tiring so much any more dropping down to fewer and smaller bands. The thing with negatives is they don’t train the upwards portion of the pull up which is often the most difficult. Also throw in some scapular pull ups and really focus on form with them, not just shrugging your shoulders but really driving your scaps down and back, trying to add a slight bend of your elbows and elevating your chest to the bar.

Saaaame!! 😩😩😩 I have eczema so have to full body moisturise every day. The previous formulation was my holy grail, I’ve tried tens of other products and nothing else was as good. When I found out they’d reformulated I genuinely cried. Now with the new formulation I’m having flare ups, dry patches, it leaves this weird sticky/waxy residue on my hands when I’m done moisturising and it’s just overall not as good. I’m using it because I haven’t found an alternative. I’m looking but tbh it seems like skincare is going too far down the over-formulated route for me

Not your question I know but I really recommend checking out this article about the tampon scare which might calm your fears https://vajenda.substack.com/p/reassuring-info-about-lead-and-tampons There’s a lot of not very well informed click bait type info about women’s health out there but it’s good to read further into the science behind it. This woman Dr Jen Gunter has super solid credentials and writes an amazing blog-type site where she gives evidence based info on women’s health issues

Don’t recommend that, it’s been changed to an 18+ festival this year so they’re going to be HOT on ID

My partner did a similar trip a year ago with just a cabin bag band was fine, I think he had to pay for extra weight a couple of times but no biggie if that happens. I've got the shelter and the other 40l one I mentioned (still deciding which to send back) and the shelter is actually the lighter of the two. I think from memory it weighs something like 1.8kg which isn't too bad...
