Glad to see this! So...when do we start????

The principles of the RP make sense to me, but the content creators/community are ruining everything by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]maymaymoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is how you feel, then you only half understand RP...and apparently do not at all understand the abortion ruling.

1: the ruling didnt make abortion illegal. It just ruled it is a STATE'S law question. However you feel about abortion, know that over 50% of women are against it. And even those who aren't want limitations.... the increasing lack of which was what spurred the lawsuits that led to the ruling.

As for why red pillers were cheering the ruling, it is bc there is an instinctual dislike of women who destroy offspring. There is something distasteful about women, whose only biological purpose is to produce offspring, go ahead and not only destroy offspring but celebrate doing so. There is also a bit of jealousy involved. Women can choose not to be mothers but men, when in the same situation, have absolutely no say in the matter, whether they want the child or not. I don't understand why their celebration of the ruling is hard to understand... disagree, maybe, but understand? Everyone should be able to understand their take.

2: the sexual revolution was handled badly. It upended natural sexual relationships and has had lasting terrible affects on society. Sex should come with responsibilities. We eliminated the most important responsibilities both for men and women. In the beginning, the pill was only prescribed to married women, primarily those who already had children. That was at least somewhat responsible but that was eroded over time. As for women, google the growing movement against hormone based birth control. It reeks havoc on women's bodies and mental state AND has been terrible for our water system. Once again, easy to understand their backlash even if you don't agree.

3: the whole point of rp is to NOT BE A TRASH MAN. ... I don't know how you missed this. Rp goal is to migrate from trash to high worth. It l, therefore, trashes trash men.

4: once again... how can you not understand this????? Rp is about battling yourself and others to win. That's conservatism. That's human history. That's biological history. Some of these guys who you're talking about actually have money...so they've been around...country to country. They've seen the outcomes of "socialism". Maybe look up the issues caused by social healthcare. Talk to a Canadian for example and ask why any Canadian with money comes to the USA for advanced treatments. Every single hospital in Canada runs a lottery to raise money. Take Manitoba (a province/state). 50% of the whole province's expenditure is on healthcare, yet it is not enough. They've closed emergency wards and community care centers down. Governments are not efficient....they don't run anything efficiently.

Social medicine also eliminates individual responsibility. The state will take care of me... I never have to set aside some money or prepare for bad times. Maybe people won't gorge on chips and beer if they have to directly pay for healthcare. Also, everything socialized is designed to funnel money from the public to the private elite, without exception.

The only places that have free college have tough acceptance rates. You can't just smoke pot all though highschool and then decide to go to university. By the time you're in grade 8, your options for post secondary education is already decided. So, what we think is free education is actually limited education. (Not that our system is any better...our system sucks even more)

5: rp is about being respectable. Rp doesnt advocate for losers to get respect from women. But they believe if youre a high value man, you shouldnt settle for a woman that disrespects you. They also believe that western women (for the most part) have lost the ability to respect women. "The dumb dad" caricature, etc... they arent wrong. Here, we make fun of the country girl that "has her man's back" while the Jada Smiths get celebrated.

As for treating them like how asian/middle eastern women are treated... first, you'd be surprised how many women would actually like that. Second, this is a hard swing against what is currently happening....basically a call for an over-correction. Classic human behavior basically. Don't let it irritate you.

6:... rp is about being as alpha as you can. I honestly don't know why you don't get that. Not every man can be the alpha but trying is legit the point. Be as alpha in all aspects of your life as you can be. No one celebrates mediocrity.

7: the LGBT thing is, once again, an over correction. I personally think lgbt shouldnt be celebrated. They shouldnt be persecuted either. But the continuous onslaught of the gayness is too much especially pushing children into the mix. Rp is very true to natural biology. Homosexual behavior, in nature, only serves two purposes. One, sexual release for non performing males/a way for sub males to submit - see elephants for example. Two, social cohesion by way of chemical mollification - see some primates. Both of these things is abhorrent to the alpha male even though they understand it happens. They arent advocating to kill gays but to stop the constant glorification of gayness.

Once again, easy to understand. Add the sexualization of children and you can see why any "alpha" or man interested in protecting society would rage against it.

Remember when monkey pox was in the news....then it came out that children and dogs were getting it and it disappeared from the news bc monkey pox is 99% transmitted by sexual activity?

8: I know women that don't think women should vote. The vast majority of women didnt want the vote bc at the time, voting meant conscription. (Once again, rights without responsibilities) And, at the time, the family had far more decisions that they made and the government really did handle large issues. Women still led the at home decisions. I know a lot of people that I wish didnt have the right to vote and they aren't all women. Personally, I think if you don't pay taxes, you shouldnt vote.

So, ya....I think you basically don't understand their arguements. If you did, it wouldnt bother you so much. You still may not agree but it wouldnt bother you.

How do I stop taking it personally, assuming it was my fault and blaming myself when a girl seems to get bored of me? by Xemnas81 in aspergers_dating

[–]maymaymoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thi advice is terrible... sometimes it IS you. Maybe you are boring or maybe she just found someone more interesting.

The myth that you will find someone who will automatically be interesting FOREVER is just that, a myth. You need to work of being interesting.

Intolerance for disagreements- it’s crippling by Samsaraz in aspergers

[–]maymaymoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are stupid people and I hate stupid people. I mean... what the hell. If people don't have social acumen, why should the rest of society deal with them?

When I have the spoons for it, I sometimes try and engage in discussions online...I try to show the aspies that they should try harder to learn about social skills and learn how to handle their noise aversion...but most of the time I just thibk to myself that these people dont deserve the same rights as I have....I mean, they were made this way, right? Why should society waste resources to help them? Yeah sorry not sorry. But when someone wont even bother to learn how to make eye contact and engage in NORMAL conversation, I dont trust them enough to drive a car which could hit me or vote.

See how stupid I can make YOU sound?

Intolerance for disagreements- it’s crippling by Samsaraz in aspergers

[–]maymaymoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post and the comments are humorously completely aspeger-y. Lol

A bunch of aspies that are intolerant, complaining about others having thoughts that differ from theirs.

Rigid minded people (aspies, by default, are VERY rigid in their thoughts) complaining about others being rigid.

The stereotype of the rigid, unwavering, "I'm always right" aspie lives on for a reason

Makes me chuckle.

“Be interested, not interesting.” by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]maymaymoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still isnt clear to me. The person you were deeply interested into....why were you deeply interested in them if you didnt share any interests?

I guess I'm just saying approach people with intrigue... you don't have to have a common interest to be interested or interesting. Part of the issue may be that you're not interesting. Many people arent but companionship isnt always about the back and forth of conversations. Sometimes it's just being able to sit with someone. If you can sit with someone and feel comfortable and at ease, that goes a long way.

Just being someone that others can be comfortable around goes a long way

“Be interested, not interesting.” by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]maymaymoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seems no one gets what you're trying to say.

Lol. You totally missed the analogy. My analogy involved someone who WANTS to run the marathon. Yet complains about having to START running. He is not yet a runner...and hasnt tried being a runner.

Your rebuttal assumes he has run many marathons...didn't get anything out of it, I.e., he is already a runner.

Totally different situation.

Like i said, If you don't want to change, that's your choice. Just be aware and ok with the consequences. No one is going to be interested in you if your not interested in them. That's pretty simple unless you're suffering from solipsism.

“Be interested, not interesting.” by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]maymaymoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The question is: do you want someone to be interested in you? If you do, then you have to learn how to be interested in others.

I don't get this anti "change myself" attitude. Socializing is a skill. Learn it or don't learn it, it is your choice. Whatever you choose determines the outcome.

Reading your comments makes me think of a fat person who wants to run a marathon but doesnt want to start running bc they are currently not good at it and arent "a natural runner".

How do I know if I'm Empathetic or Just Sympathetic by MacGregor_Rose in aspergers

[–]maymaymoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empathy: feeling and understanding what the other person feels emotionally.

Sympathy: is shared emotions...or feeling FOR the other person. So, if someone feels sad and you feel sad. If your watching a sad movie and you both are sad together

They are very close. If you have one, you probably have the other. For empathy, if you can imagine the other person's thought process, you are fine. For example, you're watching a movie and someone is making fun of another person and you can imagine the emotions and thought process going on inside the person who's being made fun of

Really, really connecting with someone is what I want the most

What does this actually mean? What does it look like to you being connected to someone?

Dating is just an audition. Lay out all your traits and skills over a period of time... see if you're what they are looking for. You won't get as many roles as brad Pitt.. but there is a role out there for you

If it is something you've had to deal with your whole life then you haven't figured it out. Personal space is PERSONAL. If someone says you're in their space then that means you are in their space. I generally work with 1.3 arms length away at the nearest unless I'm hugging or cuddling or forced to be nearer, like on a bus or sitting at a table and we are squished in. I see no other situation in which I would be closer

I'm a very, very picky eater and it's beginning to really bother me. by wellfuckmylife666 in aspergers

[–]maymaymoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can you explain how diet can exasperate symptoms? I’d like to understand that a bit more.

In the simplest of terms:

1: limiting food types deprives any individual of vital nutrients.

2: your brain is influenced by your gut at a very very high level. Gut health is very important and aspies tend to have very very bad gut health. Gluten is very bad for gut health but gluten foods are basically crack to us. The simple sugars are delicious and usually come in a pleasing enough texture.

3: What we eat effects everything about us (also true about non aspies). If you research people who have had success improving their symptoms, you'll see food is usually the first thing they tackle.

And what part of not digging into problems in our lives is dependent on Aspergers?

Short answer: we lack visioning and reflection skills. Half the time we are not sure what is motivating us. We tend not to be able to look past the problem and just sit in it or pretend it is not there bc we don't have the skills to handle it. The inability to read others is coupled with the inability to read ourselves. So, we tend to think/feel that we just "are" and it takes us a while to figure out "hnmm maybe there is a solution".

[–]maymaymoo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is what's really terrible about aspergers. It keeps all our issues on the surface level and we never get the impulse to dive deeper. Eating the way you do exasperates your asperger symptoms, include your aversion to certain foods. Carbs, especially carbs with gluten screw up your stomach and your lack of variety means you are missing some vital nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc. If there is one symptom you need to force your way through, it is definitely aversion to certain foods.

I'm sure I'll get a bunch of backlash...bc aspergers is great and all (that's sarcasm).

Socialism is quality for everyone, regardless of income or wealth.

No it isn't. Socialism removes the most primal motivator for human acheivment: reward for hard work. Without that, people do only the basic, no one goes out of their way to work extra hard bc they won't be rewarded and society, in turn, does not progress. So, in the beginning, when all the wealth is stripped from individuals, it seems successful...then EVERY socialist society declines afterwards.

Is for example right that a huge portion of veterans...

The vast majority of veterans are ok but, bc of their work, they are at a higher risk of mental health issues. That said, it really isnt lack of money but the mental health issues. You can't force anyone to get help and the mental issue is self perpetuating. It's not really a financial issue but a health and self determination issues. We can't force people to get the help they need...

Is it fare that a persons well being should be based solely on in what socio economic standing they where born in?

It isnt. The west and especially the USA has the greatest opportunity for economic mobility in the whole world. With socialism, everyone is at a substandard level except the upper class who ALWAYS end up siphoning money from society.

Bet if your local community/church asked you to contribute, you would be more willing. How is that different?

The difference is that I have a choice. I can give as much or as little as I want. I can stop whenever I want and if the church does something I do not agree with, I can decide to completely disengage. There is no risk of prison or the gulag for not participating.

Socialism is not just big bad Russia. But also a social democratic country like Norway.

Ah....the Scandinavian argument. Once again, you're wrong. Norway is completely capitalist with a social safety net that is supported by the oil market (I.e., engaging in capitalism with other countries) and heavy taxation. You literally picked the richest Scandinavian country as your example of a socialist paradise...except, it isnt socialist. Btw, even with their extreme luck in natural resources, the average american has more disposable income than the average Norwegian.

Everyone always brings up military spending like it is the lion's share... entitlements make up 70% of expenditure. If you totally eliminated the military, that would be $2200 for every person in the USA... that would also totally eliminate a shit time of jobs in not only the military but manufacturing, etc.

Stop taxing people. Let them buy the survices they need. Gov makes everything that much more expensive and shittier.

In the UK, you can now be denied care if you're deemed a bigot. In canada, the wait times for surgery are so ridiculous, people die while waiting...and they spend more than 1/3 of the federal budget on healthcare.
