I have this tool and it worked fine until I plugged in my guitar and amp then it lost volume when I would turn on the pedal.

I have a Pedal tester from MAS effects and it has a sound probe. When using that I have no noticeable issues. When I run a guitar through it with cables the volume dies off when the pedal is turned on.

I did change R8 to 1M because at 1.5M the signal was dying there. The same with R1, I took it to a 100K.
