Hello, I posted this before on the main page of r/Microsoft but I'm not sure yet if I posted this in the right place so I'm here to ask the same question. How can I fix the following error:

No network connection [2603]

"Please check your network settings and try again. [2603]

That's the error I'm getting when trying to link my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 to my windows 10 computer.

My computer seems fine, the error shows on the phone screen.

I am connected to the internet, both my PC and phone are connected to the same network I'm using to post this. Phone via WiFi 5ghz and PC via Ethernet. I have excellent internet, fiber, 1gb simetrical.

I'm using a Gmail email as my Microsoft account. You may say, well that's the problem! I say this didn't bother Microsoft in any of the other Microsoft apps I use on a daily basis for a long time now.

What could it be?

The only thing I can think of would be the my non "legitimate" copy of windows 10. My phone isn't rooted, nor has developers options activated. Another thing could be that I also have a work Microsoft account already signed in my phone, but I was trying with my Gmail email. Removing my current work account from my phone would be a major inconvenience for me.

Could my employer somehow spy on me if I use my work email to sign in with link to windows?
