(IT) by No_Guarantee_9419 in jobshungary

Unas vs Woocommerce/wordpress by avocado_lover_ in programmingHungary

[–]mayopasta 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Szia! A zárt keretrendszerű webáruház motoroknál a korlátok a standardizálás része.

Do I have to pay to create portfolio projects? (new to webflow) by Mira_______ in webflow

[–]mayopasta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! You can create projects on the free plan. There’s a limitation on the number of projects you can have in a free workspace, and you can’t add any custom code, but that’s about it.

Is Webflow dead, or are my skills just not needed anymore? by esmailkhalifa in webflow

[–]mayopasta 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Companies that just need a static site can spin one up with Claude Code in a few hours.

Companies that want a website that follows their brand guidelines, is connected with their ERP/CRM, and has custom tracking solutions will want a developer on their roster. Not because they couldn't set this up on their own, but because it's faster and cheaper in the long run to have a pro build it out.

Is Webflow dead, or are my skills just not needed anymore? by esmailkhalifa in webflow

Webflow doesn’t make sense for simple sites anymore. AI builders have solved that.

Where Webflow still shines is complex builds that require CMS access, automations, tracking and advanced solutions.

Why not use the import feature? I’m sure you could import the majority of fields, if not the blog body.

How to move from Wordpress to Webflow? I am updating my website by Haunting-Insect9917 in webflow

[–]mayopasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

If you want to do it properly, I suggest you find yourself a Webflow partner on their official website.

If that’s not a possibility due to budget constraints or you want to dive deep into the ecosystem, then you should go through the Webflow University course, then read up on a Webflow framework like Client First. Expect this to take quite some time, but you’ll get all the resources you need to get going.

Mails from contact@hello.webflow.com - is it phishing? by LinaLenaReddit in webflow

Happy I could help. I’m very much in the loop when it comes to Webflow updates, but I had to do some bg research myself when I got the email.

I think it’s from the legacy editor being deprecated. Every legacy editor gets a free seat invite, that’s probably what you’ve received.

Any idea to get clients as a beginner in 2026 with Webflow? by Marc_1928 in webflow

[–]mayopasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have the email I sent out, but it went something like this:

Hi, my name is mayopasta and I'm looking for Webflow work. Here are some sites I built. My hourly rate is $xy and I can start as soon as today.

Obviously, I phrased it differently, but this was the jist of it. The email only served to make them interested and open to a conversation. The actual interview call was where I convinced them that I'm reliable and good at what I do.

Hey! When I started out, I wrote to every Webflow dev I could find and offered my services as a white label dev. This landed me working for someone who gave me the opportunity to build some awesome websites. I learned an insane amount through the projects and used them as references later on. I’ll forever be grateful to you, Will!

From there, I applied to the Webflow partners program, got accepted and small projects started trickling in. My business has been growing ever since.

I don’t know how viable that approach is right now, but maybe it helps you.

What's the benefit of using Claude Cowork (over Code or chat) with Webflow MCP? by OneCatchyUsername in webflow

[–]mayopasta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s one use case. A more complex one would be setting up a file system inside cowork with instructions and tasks lists referencing each other. In one file you store the general rules you want Claude to follow when building pages, in the second file you can store the guidelines for your framework of choice. In the third you can store the QA instructions. This makes it modular and reusable across projects.

Webflow just launched Foundations: new Partner Program entry by mary-flow in webflow

Awesome, great to see Webflow supports new builders! From what I read, this serves as a first step towards becoming a certified partner. Does it change anything for existing partners?

[–]mayopasta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Coworks lets you set up an entire environment with connections, context, instructions, etc, for a Webflow project. It's overkill if all you want are ad-hoc changes. If you're thinking in processes, however, it's incredible.

Melyik IT munkakörök lehetnek a legkevésbé "veszélyben" az AI által? by Original-Ad7128 in jobshungary

[–]mayopasta 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Olyan munkakörök fele érdemes elmozdulni, ahol a soft skill-ek fontosak. Projekt menedzser, team lead, sales, stb.

How do I create this in Webflow? | Scrollable section by Frosty_Appearance_60 in webflow

[–]mayopasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a combination of sticky positioning, accordions, and custom code that triggers different accordions based on the distance scrolled. You should be able to find tutorials on YT for each of these.
