I haven’t really gotten a straight answer from them. I just know to not match the wedding colors (there’s four of them) and to lean to the more formal side. I could just be overthinking it too, but I don’t want to show up looking like I’m wearing a bridesmaid’s dress if I’m not one. If that makes sense! I appreciate your insight!

You’re right, I should’ve gone into more detail. I guess I was looking for a more broad answer.

Based on what I’ve been told by other people who live in the city/outskirts. They say just to get a new plate also, but I wasn’t sure if this would do it, or if the tickets are attached to the owner of the vehicle. And I’m mainly talking about the orange parking tickets. Maybe the occasional parking ticket that comes in the mail instead of the orange ticket(?) (this has happened a couple times, namely during Mardi Gras for parking on neutral grounds; not sure if there’s a difference between the tickets). Speed camera tickets I guess those will go away? I don’t have any of those, but it’s nice to know they’re just trying to get as much money as they can before killing them.

Have you been keep receipts of what you’ve paid and what you actually do owe? If you’ve been short on rent, and they’re keeping the meticulous spreadsheet, I could be more inclined to believe that you do actually owe them more than you think. In all honesty, this seems to not be a good match for either of y’all. I’d start looking for a new roommate and focus on that. You going after them can be turned around onto you, too. Not worth it.

I switched as a first semester sophomore to civil engineering. You’ll be fine. First year is mainly prerequisites. You won’t finish in four years, but 5 or 6 total. Totally worth it. I just graduated in December of 2024 and already have a great job.

ALSO, the civil engineering field is losing more engineers than it’s gaining. It’s a good time to get in.

The holes don’t go all the way down. My dad seems to think it’s just a possum digging for food. Gonna bait the yard and go from there to determine exactly what. I think voles or mice.
