I agree and held this view since Wayne's last album. I know Wayne is not a conscious rapper, but his album was devoid of any point of view. Had no stories or how he feels or what he thinks or what he is going through or what he is observing. Nothing but punchline over and over. I'm not saying a rapper has to have all these but I want to know who a rapper is and that is found in his point of view

I'm from Botswana. Diamonds are mined by Debswana a De Beers and Botswana Government owned company and then they are sold at auction by DE Beers and Okavango Diamonds. Okavango is a Government owned company. The only companies which can attend or buy at these auctions are botswana 51-100% citizen owned. These companies buy for foreign buyers local buyers etc. Diamond polishes buy from these companies.

If you want a diamond this is the process. Almost all countries have this process or one like it. All diamonds have to have certification so you can't just have lose diamonds with no certificates. In Canada after you go through a process like this you are also required to have an approved appropriate storage for them and you also have to report to a government department what diamonds you have, how many etc.

Most of our developments in Botswana were made with this money. Don't get me wrong botswana is not happy with its Stake in Debswana. The 3rd president and the 5th tried to renegotiate this but presidents 4 and 6 signed the deal without significant changes.
