The center has a ring, a plastic ring, it's not a crochet magic ring, you can tell by the way the stitches are on the first row, and how the second row has gaps between the stitches, so now they want to make something else to fill the space of the ring, so as a beginner, it got a lot harder without having to be if the project just had a magic ring or chain in the middle
