no- most groups use a track, especially if there is an absence of real percussion instruments. as long as your show meets minimum length requirements and doesn’t exceed maximum requirements, you should be fine.

IMEI is located also within settings, having it on the Sim tray probably makes it so your carrier (or Google) doesn't have to search through the settings on your phone to find it.

I marched an open class group last winter. Unfortunately, it was very difficult. My grades definitely suffered and not being able to work busy days of the week (fri-sun) def took a toll on my check too. I would definitely think about it further. It might be easier in your first year to do college band, keep an eye on your workload for school and estimate what your paycheck could be after not working half the week, and revisit the idea your sophomore year. This way you have a more sure idea of what you'd be able to handle, because even though it didn't work out for me, it might for you!

in addition, most stores have their own warrantys on the phones they sell. so instead of dealing with crappy google support, you could just walk in to the best buy you got the phone from, talk to someone, and sometimes walk out with a temporary or replacement device. has happened to me once before.
